Why Your Donation Matters
Hungary's policy debate is dominated by voices with a direct financial interest in state expansion — government-funded academics, publicly subsidised media, and NGOs dependent on EU grant cycles. The result is a public discourse that rarely interrogates the cost of intervention or models the benefits of economic freedom.
The Free Society Institute was founded to change that. We take no government money, no EU structural funds, and no corporate donations from entities that benefit from state contracts. Our only accountability is to the evidence and to our donors.
Your donation — however modest — funds the research, the translation, the design, and the distribution of ideas that would otherwise go unspoken in Hungary's public square. It is an investment in the intellectual infrastructure of a freer society.
